After a sluggish reaction the last couple of months, we’re actually on time this week with a report on the Nielsen Audio ratings for Houston radio for the period March 26-April 22.
As always, we start with 6 a.m. to midnight (Monday through Sunday) among men 25-54, which is the key demographic for sports radio. KILT (610 AM) is down a few tenths, KBME (790 AM) is even with March, and KFNC (97.5 FM) is up. All three are up from a year ago.

No change in the pecking order in weekday morning drive time (6-10 a.m.). KFNC was the only station with month-to-month growth. KILT is down significantly from a year ago.

KILT still leads in middays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.), but KFNC has gotten a boost with the new Steve Bunin-Sean Salisbury team. All three stations are up from a year ago.
