SiriusXM announced sports journalist Christine Brennan and former professional tennis player Rennae Stubbs will host Game Changers, a new weekly show on the Dan Patrick Radio channel.

Game Changers will debut September 19th and broadcast every Wednesday evening from 6 – 8pm ET.  The new show is produced in collaboration with the Aurora Games, the inaugural global multi-sport event showcasing women’s sports which will take place on August 20-25, 2019.

“When the opportunity to host Game Changers came along I knew it was something I wanted to do,” said Brennan in a press release from SiriusXM.  “The timing for a show like this is perfect and I’m looking forward to working with SiriusXM and Rennae to discuss a wide variety of sports topics each week, including looking ahead to the upcoming Aurora Games.”

The show will focus on women’s sports, providing insight on headlines that interest women and previewing next year’s Aurora Games.

“As a professional athlete and long-time fan of all sports, Game Changers offers me a platform to talk about the things that I know sports fans around the world are interested in discussing,” said Stubbs.  “Being able to do that with Christine will make it a thrill every week.”

Brennan is an award-winning columnist for USA Today, also contributing to ABC News, CNN, PBS and NPR.  Brennan has twice been named a top 10 sports columnist in the country by the AP Sports Editors.  A ground-breaking journalist, Brennan was the first woman sports writer for The Miami Herald in 1981 and the first female to cover the NFL for The Washington Post in 1985.

After a tennis career that saw co-host Rennae Stubbs win four Grand Slam doubles titles and two Grand Slam mixed doubles titles, she worked as an analyst for ESPN, Tennis Channel and Channel Seven Australia.

“Christine and Rennae are two dynamic and bold voices who provide a valuable perspective on sports,” said Steve Cohen, SiriusXM’s SVP of Sports Programming.  “We are thrilled to be teaming them up on SiriusXM, where they will have a platform to reach listeners from coast to coast.  Game Changers is an outstanding and welcome addition to our lineup.”
