A new digital sports network has launched in the Motor City. The Woodward Sports Network is the brainchild of Sam “Stick” Day and Lady Janes CEO Chad Johnson. The network will exclusively cover sports in Detroit.
The Woodward Sports Network is launching with a morning show. Day will host the show alongside Joey Radio, formerly of Clear Channel’s local CHR station Channel 95.5, and Krissy T, formerly of Cumulus country outlet WDRQ.
“Media is being consumed in so many different ways today,” Day said in a press release. “Woodward Sports will be live streaming everything from local shows, events, high school football games, to exclusive interviews with athletes, artists, local celebs, and more. I can’t wait to work with an incredible team of innovators and creative talent. Detroit is a special sports town and deserves special sports coverage.”
