Dr. Fauci Wants to Stop Talking About Donald Trump

“We’ve really got to look forward and ahead and just put that behind us,” Fauci said.

After being muzzled by the Trump administration, Dr. Anthony Fauci is making the media rounds and his latest stop was on Fox News’ revamped America’s Newsroom hour.

Fauci recently interviewed with The New York Times while also guesting on an episode of The Daily podcast, where he discussed his time with former President Donald Trump. However, the nation’s leading infectious-diseases expert appeared ready to move on when he made his appearance on Fox News.

Nonetheless, co-anchor Dana Perino displayed frustration as 24 of the 28-minute interview with The Daily focused not on the COVID-19 pandemic itself but instead on Fauci’s contentious relationship with Trump.

“I know that those questions are irresistible for reporters to ask,” Perino said. “But is there a law of diminishing returns to continue to answer the questions about that relationship if the crisis is as acute as you say?”

Fauci then responded by saying he’s not happy about rehashing his time with Trump and wants to look forward.

“We’ve really got to look forward and ahead and just put that behind us,” Fauci said. Adding that he is “really not enthusiastic at all about re-examining what happened back then rather than looking forward to what we need to do now.”

Co-host Bill Hemmer then interrupted Fauci to provide critical remarks over him wanting to move on from the Trump discussion.

“It just seems like there’s this aggressiveness toward the Trump administration,” Hemmer said. “I mean, you’re the most respected man in America on this topic. Why do you even feel the obligation to answer these questions?”

“We’re getting into rehashing it again,” Fauci said. “I think we should do what Dana just suggested, namely, put that behind us and take a look at the problems we have ahead.” Hemmer finally ended the back and forth with Fauci by stating, “At 9:37 on this Tuesday morning, January 26th, we will mark this moment, doctor. I’m ready to move on with you as well.”

Fox News personality Geraldo Rivera shockingly revealed that he once encountered a UFO while high on ecstasy. According to Mediate, Rivera made the comments on Tuesday’s “The Five” as the panel discussed the U.S. House of Representatives subcommittee hearing on UFO sightings.

The segment began innocently enough with Jesse Waters explaining what the subcommittee had discovered. He then turned to Rivera to ask if felt Congress was the “appropriate body” to probe mysterious objects in the sky.

“I’ve sailed around the world, I’ve seen a lot of clear skies, I’ve seen satellites, which are kind of spooky, weather balloons, stray aircraft, others,” Rivera said.

According to the NewYork Times, the congressional hearing was the first in more than a half-century to focus on military reports of unexplained phenomena.

“The only time I ever saw a UFO, I was stoned on ecstasy,” said Rivera. “I steered around it, and I went back the other way,” he said with a smile. “It just tracked me everywhere I went.”

During the meeting, the Pentagon said they have not collected materials from aliens landing on earth. Declassified videos were released showing speeding objects flying past a military fighter jet.

Jim Cramer: I Don’t Know How Elon Musk Gets Out of Not Buying Twitter

Cramer stated on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” that Musk is “stuck” buying Twitter and won’t be able to get out of his agreement.

Twitter will push to enforce a merger agreement that would force Elon Musk to purchase the social media company for $44-billion. The Tesla CEO recently said a deal could not move forward without “proof” of a fake account estimate.

While Musk prepares to fight this, CNBC host Jim Cramer stated on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” that the entrepreneur is “stuck” and won’t be able to get out of his agreement.

“Elon Musk had a lot of time at the company, spent three days here apparently looking at things. There is a clause called specific performance where they can force him to take it. And I don’t know how he gets out of it. I don’t know how he does not buy it. I mean, how they can’t force it,” Cramer said, per Mediaite.

Cramer added that unless Musk discloses “out-and-out fraud,” the company can enforce the deal. Also, the host also went on Twitter to further emphasize that he cannot see how the Telse CEO gets out of this agreement.

“I guess maybe they can renegotiate something, but that’s the contract’s $54.20. And he agreed to that. And unless you’re some sort of out-and-out fraud, which no one has found, my understanding,” Cramer said.

“No fraud found. He owns it. He owns it. And he’s got to point to some fraud, some material adverse change, even in the period since he signed, of which there isn’t any. And I think he’s stuck! I think he’s hung! I don’t know. He, he’s, some of the tweets are at odd hours. I don’t know if you’ve noticed.”
