ESPN’s NBA show The Jump, will celebrate its five-year anniversary on Thursday, February 18, at 3 p.m. ET.
The one-hour weekly show, hosted by journalist Rachel Nichols first began on February 18, 2016 and has since aired more than 1,000 episodes. according to ESPN Press Room.
Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul made an appearance on the show’s first episode and will join Nichols for the anniversary episode to discuss his latest project as an executive producer. Paul has been working on Why Not Us: North Carolina Central University Men’s Basketball – an all-access documentary series streaming exclusively on ESPN+.
Also appearing on set is ESPN NBA Analyst Richard Jefferson and senior writer Brian Windhorst. The special episode will include a look back at highlights from the show’s five-year history.
Since its inception, The Jump has extended its presence to high-profile events. The crew has hosted live shows at the NBA Finals, the conference finals, the NBA Playoffs, NBA All-Star, the NBA Draft and the NBA Draft Lottery.
