John Clayton is joining 104.3 The Fan in Denver as the station’s Senior Broncos writer. The hire strengthens the station’s roster of online contributors including former Nuggets coach George Karl, former Broncos tight end Nate Jackson, and former ESPN and USA Today editor Shawn Drotar.
“The Broncos have one of the NFL’s most storied franchises with a tremendously passionate fan base,” Clayton said in a station press release. “I’m very excited to be joining The Fan team with the opportunity to write about the Broncos every day at DenverFan.com as they enter a new era under general manager George Paton.”
In addition to written content, Clayton will also make appearances across a variety of shows in the station’s lineup.
This is not the first time Clayton has been a part of the Bonneville family. The former senior writer for ESPN.com was previously a weekday host for ESPN 710 in Seattle. He was taken off the full time roster in November. He still contributes to the station’s website and makes frequent appearances on the station’s morning show to talk about the Seahawks.
