Aaron Rodgers’ debut as a guest host on Jeopardy! on Monday night ended on a hilarious note.
As reported by The Big Lead, two-day champion Scott Shewfelt knew he didn’t have the correct answer during Final Jeopardy, so he tossed out an answer that made Rodgers laugh. And while it might not have been the right answer for the game, it seemed as if Rodger agreed with him.
The answer was in context to last year’s NFC Championship Game when Packers head coach Matt LaFleur decided to kick a field goal rather than try to score a touchdown and two-point conversion. The decision came on fourth-and-goal on the Buccaneers 8-yard line as the Packers trailed Tom Brady’s team 31-23 with 2:09 left in the game.
“That is a great question,” Rodgers said in response to Shewfelt’s answer. “Should be correct.”
The Big Lead noted that after the game Rodgers made it clear he didn’t agree with the decision to kick the field goal. However, it looked like he agreed with Shewfelt’s answer.
