MSNBC Medical Contributor Dr. Vin Gupta took a shot at Fox News Tuesday when he said that the information being shared on the network about COVID-19 vaccinations is killing people.

Gupta, who works as Affiliate Assistant Professor of Health Metrics Sciences at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) made his comments on Morning Joe.

“To your point about Fox News, if I may, I think they’re recognizing that they are — that they could be potentially culpable for putting out misinformation that could kill people,” Gupta told co-host Willie Geist.

Gupta also said that the nation’s public health and medical experts focus less on masks and more on outreach to the unvaccinated.

As the interview progressed, he did not back down from holding Fox News responsible for some of its perceived irresponsible reporting.

“At this point saying not to get vaccinated, which some anchors continue to draw questions on or inject some uncertainty about whether or not you should get vaccinated, or whether vaccinations correlated to death, for example, there’s some very well-known anchors that continue to do that,” he continued.

“I think they recognize that they might be culpable in a court of law. That is actually putting out misinformation that is harming people.”

Newsmax

Grant Stinchfield, a host on Newsmax, didn’t mince words as he claimed to be “happy” that Team USA Women’s Soccer and Men’s Basketball lost their Olympic openers in Tokyo.

The self-proclaimed ‘#MAGA Champion’ according to his Twitter bio said he was openly rooting against “Megan Rapinoe and her merry band of America-hating female soccer player.”

He continued by calling Team USA Men’s Basketball a “collection of whiny over-paid social justice warriors,” and a “bunch of anthem kneelers” who are “very hard to root for.”

Justin Baragona – a contributing editor for The Daily Beast – had to recap online.

Baragona pointed out that it wasn’t just Newsmax celebrating America’s defeat either.

Joe Scarborough: Teachers & Health Workers Must Be Vaccinated

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough wants President Joe Biden to create a policy that requires teachers and health workers to receive the vaccination against the coronavirus

The COVID-19 vaccine is a topic of discussion, although news networks can only urge their viewers to get vaccinated.

Nonetheless, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough wants President Joe Biden to create a policy that requires teachers and health workers to receive the vaccination against the coronavirus, per The Hill.

“He does need to make the tough choice right now,” Scarborough said.

“And he needs to start in his own political backyard. He needs to tell the teachers union that he’s going to require every public health care person to get it but also … every public school teacher needs to be vaccinated.”

The COVID-19 delta variant accounts for most new cases in the United States, with the majority almost entirely among the unvaccinated; Biden faces increased stress to get more aggressive in his administration’s mass vaccination efforts.

“Our kids stayed home last year from school, and the results were absolutely devastating,” Scarborough said.

“So, we have the vaccines, and the president of the United States needs to say if you are a public school teacher or you teach at a public university, as a condition of your job, you have to get vaccinated.”
