The man affectionately known as “Bo Snerdley” to millions of loyal Rush Limbaugh listeners has written a book about his time with the late iconic broadcaster.

James Golden worked behind the scenes on the Rush Limbaugh Show for three decades. His new book called “Rush on the Radio” will share stories on how Limbaugh grew his show into the highest-rated radio program of all time.

According to Amazon, Golden aims to continue “Rush’s legacy” which “must be framed carefully. “The stories must not be lost. In fact, we need them now more than ever.”

Following Limbaugh’s death from advanced lung cancer last year, Golden hosted a podcast reflecting on the life and times of Limbaugh. Golden now hosts a one-hour weekday program on 77 WABC in addition to his Saturday morning program on the station.

According to a review in the Washington Times, Golden wrote that he never wanted to portray Limbaugh as some mortal being.

“He was a man, in many respects like any other man,” He wrote. “But here is where he was different from most. He was willing to stand and take the arrows the Left launched at him for over three decades — because he dared tell the political truth.”

Inside Radio is reporting that My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell is pulling all of his advertising from Salem Radio Network.

Lindell said the network singled him out by attempting to cancel him. Lindell has been an outspoken critic of election integrity and sincerely believes that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.

Salem isn’t the only broadcast network that Lindell is feuding with. Business Insider reports that Lindell planned to protest outside of Fox News because he believes the network played a big part in facilitating Biden’s victory over Trump.

“With Salem, nobody gets to sell My Pillow products going forward,” Lindell continued. “You are done selling My Pillow products!”

Salem Radio Network is home to conservative talk shows hosts, including Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager, Dr. Sebastian Gorka, and Larry Elder.

Lindell’s products are being removed from Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s.

WFMD Kicks off Its “Christmas Cash for Kids” Fundraising Program

The week-long radiothon program began in 1975 at the now-defunct WZYQ in Frederick

WFMD Radio in Frederick, Maryland, will kick off its flagship fundraising program Monday called “Christmas Cash for Kids.”

The week-long radiothon program began in 1975 at the now-defunct WZYQ in Frederick. A deejay received a distressing phone call from one of his listeners. There was a family in the Frederick area that would have had no Christmas had it not been for the generosity of the station, which raised $1,500, enough to provide Christmas for several families.

Since then, “Christmas Cash for Kids” has become a holiday tradition in Frederick County. It has evolved into the single largest provider of children’s toys and clothing for those who would otherwise have to go without.

“For me, the most distinctive aspects of this event are zero overhead and that all the money stays local,” said Frank Mitchell, WFMD Program Director. “Deserving recipients are all vetted, and contributions come from kid’s piggy banks, corporate donations, and everyone in-between.”

Last year, WFMD raised $ $128,201.32 due to the generosity of caring people in Mid-Maryland. Once again, the Salvation Army will partner with the station to assist in this annual tradition.

“I don’t know who is going to be the new host in this daypart or the afternoon daypart, I am asking you to make certain that you give them lots of fair shakes,” Herman said.

Herman began his career at KTTH in 2015 before moving to its sister station KIRO Radio 97.3 in 2019. He moved back to KTTH a year later where he took over the morning show.
