Colorado talk radio host Randy Corporon is addressing the potential impact that social media sites GETTR and TRUTH Social may have on the 2022 midterm elections.

Truth Social, part of the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), purports to combat censorship and the “self-righteous scolds and self-appointed arbiters”

During his show on News/Talk 710 KNUS in Denver, Corporon spoke to U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) about how Twitter and Facebook have suspended accounts of high-profile conservative media figures and politicians.

“The left-wing media machine, especially the social media giants, are so terrified of messages like yours, I’m surprised you haven’t been silenced in, for instance, on Twitter,” he said to Boebert.

“We know — as I said on Newsmax this morning — we know that the so-called fact-checkers are third-party opinion-based, and the red flags for so-called misinformation only go one way,” Boebert responded.

Corporon said Truth Social will be functioning within two months and may act as an “equalizer” in the 2022 midterm campaigns.

“They’re terrified,” Corporon said about Big Tech. “And the great thing is, we now have, you know, GETTR adding — what — 250,000, 500,000 people a day.”

Dom Giordano To Be Featured In ‘CBS News Sunday Morning’ Story

“When you’re on that show, it’s much different than being on cable or whatever. It’s a widely respected show.”

CBS News Sunday Morning sat down with 1210 WPHT’s Dom Giordano Tuesday, for an interview that will air in September about the political divide in the nation, and the role talk radio plays in it.

Giordano alluded to being dressed up on Tuesday’s show and revealed Wednesday the reason.

“I had a great interview with Jim Axelrod that you see on Sunday Morning. Jane Pauley. Sunday Morning. It’s a big show. Come September 11th, we’ll be featured along with a talk show host to the left (of the political spectrum) talking about talk radio.

“Their September 11th show is gonna be about America divides. All those things out there that are divisive.”

Giordano marveled at the lengths taken to create a three to four-minute piece about the subject.

“I was in there 80 minutes. Maybe even 85, if you can imagine. Even I was getting tired of hearing myself. All for about 3 minutes, maybe. But it’s golden, those 3 minutes.”

He later had high praise for the quality of the program.

“When you’re on that show, it’s much different than being on cable or whatever. It’s a widely respected show.”

Conservative talker Dana Loesch reflected on her on-time co-hosting “The View” during a segment on her nationally syndicated show Tuesday.

“I remember the first time I guest hosted the show, Barbara Walters was there, and she hated me,” said Loesch. “It was back when Jenny McCarthy was still with them, and McCarthy was just wonderfully sweet.”

Loesch said during the episode, they were playing a video of her shooting a gun when Walters made a snide remark to her.

“Walters asked me if I enjoyed shooting,” Loesch said, inferring her tone was disingenuous. “I just kind of looked at her and gestured toward the screen and said I guess.”

Loesch accused Walters of “marginalizing” her and claimed the entire experience was “weird.”

“It didn’t really work out. But they’re not like that anymore,” Loesch said. “I think they have some new producers; the show is not like it was.”

Loesch added that “The View” was originally created to bring all sorts of different viewpoints together.

“Now the only acceptable Republican is one who is really not,” she added.

Loesch referenced Florida Gov. Ron Desantis who recently opted not to appear on the show citing past negative comments made by some of its hosts.
