An effort from Townsquare Media to launch the Washington State News Network has come to fruition.

In a press release, Townsquare Media says the network aims to be “the only source of local, regional, and statewide news that is available to broadcasters and listeners in the State of Washington.”

The Washington State News Network will provide eight 90-second reports on weekdays for three Townsquare news/talk stations in the state, and other stations that subscribe to the service.

“We are thrilled to bring quality local, regional and statewide news to the many communities in Washington State that are starving for more local information in their communities,” Townsquare Media Western Region Vice President of News & Ag Networks Kevin O’Rorke said. “Many broadcasters were forced to cut news staff and content during the pandemic and we couldn’t be more excited to fill that void for both broadcasters in need of the service and listeners wanting the latest breaking news.”

Charlie Kirk: Federal Government Limited My Social Media Reach in 2020

“Essentially we have a third party — allegedly — that exists to censor people that they don’t like, such as James Woods, Gateway Pundit, Donald Trump Jr., Tom Fenton, Jack Posobiec, myself.”

A report from John Solomon’s JustTheNews.com claims a federal agency limited the reach of “thousands” of web URLs and “millions” of social media posts during the 2020 Presidential Campaign, and the list includes conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, who discussed being on the “enemies list” Monday.

“Essentially we have a third party — allegedly — that exists to censor people that they don’t like, such as James Woods, Gateway Pundit, Donald Trump Jr., Tom Fenton, Jack Posobiec, myself, Mark Levin, James O’Keefe, Rick Grenell, Breitbart News, Sean Hannity,” The Charlie Kirk Show host said. “So the federal government pays this outside company to then censor voices they don’t like.”

Solomon joined Kirk to discuss the matter, saying the “breadth of censorship is absolutely jaw-dropping. They targeted 4,900 URLs, 20 U.S. news sites, 29 famous influencers, yourself included, and the impact of all that censorship is an estimated — in their own report, this is the coalition’s own report — to be 22 million tweets. A massive amount of reach throttling and censorship. Unheard of in American history.”

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene told Solomon’s television show she is considering legal action, saying “I’ve already talked to an attorney…and I’m owed damages”. Her Twitter account was permanently suspended in January for continued COVID-19 misinformation.
