Allen has been with CPR since 2015 and will hand off the show’s hosting duties to Nathan Heffel, who will head the program starting March 22nd.
During her tenure at NPR, Cornish won national awards for her reporting while hosting “Weekend Edition” and “All Things Considered.”
The show will take place October 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Executive producer Cara Tallo and host Ailsa Chang will accept the award.
