Pete Rose No Longer On Fox’s World Series Coverage

Pete Rose is done photobombing on Fox Sports — at least until next season.

That’s right, Rose will no longer appear on Fox Sports’ pre- and postgame coverage of the World Series, host Kevin Burkhardt announced after the Mets’ 9-3 rout of the Royals in Game 3.

“This is the best October I’ve had since 1980 when I won my last World Series,” Rose said. “Thanks, guys. Thanks, Fox.”

Baseball’s all-time hits leader joined Fox Sports in May, appearing on multiple shows, including “MLB Whiparound,” “America’s Pregame” and “Fox Sports Live.”

While Rose provided in-depth insight for Fox, he will likely be remembered this season for his antics during a rain delay in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series between the Royals and Blue Jays.

Don’t worry, the Fox producers poked some fun at the 74-year-old after wishing him goodbye.
