Los Angeles’ Fox Sports Radio AM 570 is losing a key member of its on-air team. Bill Reiter announced on social media that he’s departing the radio station which he’s been a part of for the past four years, and the Fox Sports company which he’s contributed to for the past six, in order to accept a position with CBS Sports.

As part of his new role at CBS, Reiter will write a national column for CBSSports.com, host a digital show “Reiter Than You”, contribute podcasts, add more written stories, provide on-air reporting, plus he’ll be involved in a few other ways which he said will be revealed in the months ahead.

Reiter expressed his gratitude to Fox Sports Radio boss Don Martin for providing him with an opportunity and helping him develop over the past few years. He also expressed his appreciation to Rick Jaffe at Fox Sports, and numerous other colleagues who he worked with and had the benefit of learning from.

No word yet on how AM 570 will replace Reiter in middays alongside Leeann Tweeden.
