Toronto’s SportsNet 590 The FAN announced Ashley Docking has been added to their morning show starting Thursday, February 28th.  Docking joins current co-hosts, Greg Brady and Hugh Burrill on Sportsnet’s Starting Lineup which broadcasts daily from 5:30 – 9am ET.

“I couldn’t be happier to be joining Sportsnet’s Starting Lineup,” said Docking in the station’s press release. “I’m particularly proud to be joining the country’s top sports talk radio station and I look forward to bringing a unique perspective to our audience. Greg and Hugh are both tremendous broadcasters and we’re all excited to get started and deliver a fun and fresh show to Toronto’s morning listeners.”

A native of Scarborough, ON, Docking’s media credentials include serving as a host and reporter for the Edmonton Oilers, NBA TV Canada, the National Lacrosse League and FNTSY Sports Today among other outlets.   Docking is also a former college athlete, being named to the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association’s Hall of Fame for her performance in basketball and soccer.

“Ashley has been a fantastic contributor to the station’s programming for quite a while and I am thrilled that she is now stepping into this role full time,” said Dave Cadeau, National Format Director, Sports, Rogers Radio.

“Ashley is energetic, passionate, and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable about a cross-section of professional sports. Her quick wit and sensibility are the perfect complement to Greg and Hugh. Together, they will give our audiences more of what they’re looking for during their morning commute – an entertaining and engaging show about the sports and teams Toronto fans are craving.”

Docking joins The FAN’s morning show after Elliott Price was dismissed in January of this year.  The trio of Price, Brady and Burrill began together on SportsNet 590 in February of 2017, continuing for nearly two years.
