James Merilatt is joining Denver’s 104.3 the Fan as the station’s new digital sports editor. He has been charged with developing new initiatives and overseeing all sports content on 1043TheFan.com and across The Fan’s multiple digital platforms.
Merilatt is no stranger to the Denver sports scene. He is a former co-host on crosstown rival Altitude Sports Radio. He also launched the Mile High Sports brand and served as the Broncos publications co-ordinator.
He comes to the Fan from the Colorado Mamoth of Major League Lacrosse, where he served as the director of business operations. Merilatt’s first day with the Fan will be April 15.
