NRG Media Hosts Town Hall On Life After Covid-19

NRG Media in Omaha is hosting a town hall event on Wednesday night. 1620 The Zone, News Talk 1290 KOIL and 1180 Zone2 will simulcast a the event beginning at 5 pm Central time.

Local leaders from politics, education, athletics, the medical field and the non-profit industry will join the show over the course of three hours. The event will be hosted by Mike’l Severe of 1620 the Zone and Matt Tompkins of 101.9 the Keg.

“As broadcasters, it’s our job to keep our listeners and the community informed,” NRG Media General Manager Mark Shecterle said. “Our Town Hall guests did not hesitate when asked to participate and we are so appreciative.  Providing the answers to the questions we are all asking is very much needed in Omaha.  I’m just thankful we were able to put this together.”

Nebraska Congressman Don Bacon, Governor Pete Ricketts, Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert, and Director of Athletics at Creighton University Bruce Rasmussen are all scheduled to appear.

“I’m excited that we have been able to put together a star studded line-up for this very much needed Town Hall,” Severe said in a press release. “Our listeners want these and so many other questions answered and that’s our goal.”
