Brady Quinn: ‘Mike Florio Is Using Josh Lambo For Clickbait’

“Since the Jaguars fired Urban Meyer last year, Brady Quinn has been outspoken in his support for the coach and his belief that many of the stories that have been told about Meyer are untrue.”

Former Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo is suing his former team.

Lambo was allegedly kicked by former head coach Urban Meyer during warm-ups for a game last season. It was one of the more memorable tales of dysfunction out of Jacksonville during Meyer’s brief and controversial tenure as head coach.

Lambo has since filed a lawsuit against the team, trying to recoup his 2021 salary plus additional damages stemming from the incident.

Over on FOX Sports Radio, 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe host Brady Quinn is over it.

“Everyone has to resort to a lawsuit,” he told Lavar Arrington and Jonas Knox on Thursday. “Like you gotta sue someone to get something done, or to get attention or whatever else. It’s terrible, man.”

Quinn wondered if Lambo could just go away before taking a swipe at Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, who has covered the developments in Lambo’s case extensively.

“Mike Florio, stop putting him at the top of your website,” Quinn said. “No one cares and it’s just clickbait. Just move on. Good luck trying to prove that and get back any of that money whatsoever.”

Since the Jaguars fired Urban Meyer last year, Brady Quinn has been outspoken in his support for the coach and his belief that many of the stories that have been told about Meyer are untrue. He has even said that much of the reporting is due to the media’s dislike of the former coach.

Urban Meyer and Brady Quinn worked together for two years on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff. It has been reported that will likely happen again with the former coach set to rejoin the network this college football season.
