The U.S. Women’s Soccer Team will make history next week, taking part in the first match to be streamed live on HBO Max on January 17.

This comes following an agreement between the U.S. Soccer Federation and Warner Brothers Discovery in March of last year, making HBO Max, TNT and TBS the English-language home of all men’s and women’s friendlies, home World Cup qualifiers and the SheBelieves Cup.

The U.S. Women’s National Team will be in New Zealand taking part in a pair of friendlies against the 2023 Women’s World Cup co-host nation.

The first match will be January 17 at 10 p.m. eastern, and the second will be on January 20 at 10 p.m. In addition to airing on HBO Max, the games will also air on TNT.

Luke Wileman will handle play-by-play duties. Julie Foudy, DaMarcus Beasley, Shannon Boxx and Kyle Martino will also be analysts. Sarah Walsh will be the studio host, and Melissa Ortiz will be reporting from the sidelines.
