Clay Travis is one (of many) feuds Dave Portnoy will not let die. “El Presidente,” as he is known to Barstool’s diehard fans, posted screenshots of the instant reaction videos he and Travis did on Twitter following Sunday night’s Game of Thrones episode to poke fun at the Outkick the Coverage host.
Travis and Portnoy have been going back and forth for years. Both have claimed that Barstool at one point had interest in acquiring OKTC, but they dispute how that interest came about. In 2017 Travis said that Portnoy made him an offer but wanted Travis to commit to only doing TV and radio with Barstool. Portnoy has claimed on multiple occasions that Travis has explicitly asked him to purchase OKTC.
Clay wasn’t backing down this time. He challenged Portnoy to a boxing match and landed a few verbal barbs of his own.
From there the fight continued with Portnoy again claiming that Travis asked him to acquire Outkick the Coverage and Travis saying that this feud only goes one way.
By now Travis is as aware as anyone else that has ended up on Portnoy’s bad side. A feud with Barstool’s El Presidente never truly dies and can reignite at a moment’s notice.
